CAA introduces shorter clearance window

CAA introduces shorter clearance window

In our continual drive to provide the best possible service, the Cinema Advertising Association (CAA) is pleased to be introducing a quicker turnaround time for copy clearance.

With immediate effect, the clearance window has been shortened from 48 hours to 24 hours. This will give our customers more flexibility for ensuring their cinema campaigns are compliant, approved and get on the big screen as quickly as possible.

The CAA is dedicated to offering a streamlined, flexible service when it comes to clearance. We have made updates to our systems and processes which will now facilitate a 24-hour turnaround on clearance for non-contentious copy.

In certain circumstances, the 24-hour turnaround time may not be possible. If this is the case, the 48-hour turnaround will remain as a guarantee for non-contentious copy and full communication will be made to all parties to outline this.

Copy with code breaches or compliancy issues will continue to require longer timeframes to enable amendments. This will be flagged at the earliest opportunity as per our previous protocol.

The panel meeting chaired by the copy consultant for particularly contentious copy will continue to run weekly.
